A Journey of Heart and Hope
At the Self Realization Fellowship, we believe that true spiritual growth often manifests through service to others. This past weekend, we had the privilege of witnessing compassion in action during the “Tiếp Sức Đến Trường” (Lighting the Way to School) 2025 charity caravan.
Organized by the C&D Business Club (CLB Doanh Nhân C&D), a chapter of the Hanoi SME Association, this journey brought together entrepreneurs, volunteers, and kind hearts to deliver essential school supplies and scholarships to children in the remote areas of Tam Nong and Cao Lanh in Dong Thap province.
The Journey: 36 Hours of Service
The mission was clear: to support students in difficult circumstances before the new school year begins.
Day 1 — August 2, 2025
First Stop: Binh Hang Trung Primary School
After a brief stop at the Trung Luong Rest Stop, the convoy arrived at our first destination in Cao Lanh. The team wasted no time, immediately commencing the ceremony to hand out gifts.
Second Stop: Phu Duc Primary School
Following a lunch break, the group traveled 44km deeper into the province to Phu Duc. Here, we continued our mission, distributing backpacks, books, and supplies to ensure these children have the tools they need to dream big.
Gala Dinner: Connecting Hearts
The day concluded with a warm Gala Dinner. It was a time for volunteers to bond, share stories, and honor the sponsors who made the trip possible. The night was filled with music and gratitude.
Day 2 — August 3, 2025
Nature's Beauty: Tram Chim National Park
The team visited the famous Tram Chim National Park, enjoying the serene beauty of Dong Thap's flooded forest ecosystem before sharing a final lunch together.
